Tom Mullen, MBA, joined the DCRI in 2017 and was named its Associate Director of Operational Excellence in 2019. In this role, he collaborates with leaders across the organization to identify, prioritize, and deliver strategic initiatives that improve business, clinical, and research delivery operations. Mullen originally joined the DCRI as the Associate Director for Strategic Portfolio Management, leading the execution of a cross-functional portfolio of business transformation projects.
Prior to joining the DCRI, Mullen worked in business and IT consulting for over 20 years with a focus on business transformation, strategic planning, and project management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Notre Dame as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
